how to be in opposition

the Reading Labour Group have had some kind of awayday to learn how to be in opposition, I am told, and have been given an instruction manual, extracts of which have been quoted at a council meeting, though not by Labour.  I have not yet seen this document, so...

Not seen it all, but know some of the content. Usual stuff like infiltrating residents' associations, local campaigns and scaremongering. Pretty much what we've seen from them so far.

It's old tactics and what Salter did with the Katesgrove Residents' Association. Once having secured the ward Labour then made a complaint about the chair standing as an independent in a local election.
