The Report

is the Radio 4 programme I contributed to and you can find it here - I have not listened to it myself as - well, there are reasons why to do with where my PC thinks I am. Anyway, I am given to understand that although I named Martin Salter MP as having claimed Additional Costs Allowance for an on-existent London property between 1997 and 2001, they edited out his name. Chiz.

This is growing as an issue and needs clearing up.

I'm sure Salter is no unblemished 'angel', but all cases stand and fall on the evidence.

If you can back up this claim in any way or go into it in exact detail it would go a long way to make the case against Salter, but while you just repeat it nothing new is added.

And because your motives can reasonably be questioned no jury could possibly convict as things stand without more information.

If you are correct then action must be taken to hold him to account, but at the current time this would be premature.

It is a serious matter of credibility, not just harmless gossip, so I'd very much appreciate it if you could enlighten us with your knowledge.

You (and the programme) were praised on politicalbetting.com earlier today.

Why not get the News of the Screws on the case?

They did - but fear not - there are ways in which his name is going to be got out - it is in hand - especially since in the last week he has been all over the papers AGAIN - portraying himself as the Archbishop and Pope combined of Reading.

So you glad to see you've got over being The UnChosen One and are not still feeling any festering personal animosity...

Your only on it twice. First saying you claimed £250 for non existent taxis. Second saying how much you enjoyed travelling first class.

Well done great PR.

It is in hand.
It is being dealt with.
