we have always been at war with Eurasia...
letter published in His Master's Voice from Cllr Ruhemann, informing us how he and Mr Salter have always campaigned against building on the Kennet Meadows. Except when they haven't of course. Just a few years ago. they told us - and Salter went on Meridian TV and I think Ruhemann did too, they were both certainly in HMV obviously, saying the place had to be built on. They were both doing so at the instruction of Dictatorship Dave Sutton, then the leader of Reading Borough Council.

That letter made me smile---Pete Ruheman going on about how 'little' people can defeat large multi national companies etc etc and how it was so important for people to get involved.
How strange , Pete Ruhemann is hardly a common name ,and yet I witnessed someone of the same name at a meeting of the cabinet telling us all how the one way IDR was the only possible way forward and there was no need for anything like a public enquiry!! Cllrs Sutton and Howarth were among the others who voiced the same thoughts.
Well guess what ----us 'little 'people rared up and the whole thing got too hot even for this shower to handle.
Cllr Ruhemann is quite correct that the little people can move the immovable-----the evidence is there by the fact that we are not now driving anti-clockwise around the town centre. How true his words!!!!!!!

Ruhemann is a nasty piece of work who should be put down full stop. One day there will a Nuhremburg trial in Reading and hopefully he will go to the gallows..for all the kids's lives he messed up for a start. Yes Pete your day will come
