hate fest

is what today's appearance by Labour's leader who won elections and gave us decent government in the UK is being treated as by the tedious Guardianista chatterers. I have never really understood why there is this hatred, but there it is.  Some git at First Post has this, actually saying that Tony Blair should be, judicially or otherwise, murdered.  How do these people get away with this stuff?  Haters.

Disingenuous as usual. Of course he said nothing of the kind. His article is titled: "They used to behead men like Tony Blair" which is a long way from advocating his murder.

ooh get you "as usual". Quote:
Where are the Signori di Notte when we need them?

The Signori di Notte were the ones who organised the beheadings of those they deemed "criminals". The author is wishing such measures were available today to be used against Tony Blair, who it says is a criminal. Pernicious crap. Who are you?

Galloway the spandex cat also said TB's murder would be "morally justified". But as he went to see Saddam to tell the mustachioed murderer to his face that he was "strong, courageous and indefatigable", his moral judgment may be a little skewed.

I agree with Jane. At the very least, this is the type of language that would have anybody applying it to anybody else subject to at the very least, a visit from PC Plod.

But the Labour Party and its accolytes in the media hates nothing mroe than a PM who won elections. Look at the vitriol that Harold Wilson still attracts. This is why Jim Callaghan has been canonised and Gordy is already on the first step towards beatification.

"Galloway the spandex cat"!

Excellent, Jonny - I bet TS Eliot had known about that particular feline.

Blair does have many talents - How does he fake that croakey voice when pretending to be sincere?

Decent government? You must be joking. I accept that he tried, but by end 2004 he had given up in order to win the next election (Jonathan Calder at Liberal England thinks it might have been earlier). I know that you were on the inside then, Jane, but it was differently perceived by those of us who were on the outside and were involved in helping with those parts of delivery that depended on 'partnerships' with the private sector.

Well, OK, but look at what is happening now
