my attention has been drawn

to this blog, which is focused on Reading politics and on Reading council.  It appears to be linked to a Tory faction, if factions there be, not necessarily designed to be helpful to council leader Andrew Cumpsty.  Whatever.  Its author appears also to be committed to seeking the truth on previous council corruption.  I would suggest that he or she varies his or her route home at nights if any more digging in that particular hole is envisaged.

It looks a bit like Andrew Waters aka 'Wat Tyler'; the Howarthesque spelling and factionalisation certainly rings true.

I hope it's better than his previous effort!

DO you think this "faction" went to the same School as Howarth and Basher? Latest gem from Basher is "cirriculum". Could be a decoy blog...some local twitters are also on the odd side. "Funny season" as they call it in politics. Soon be all over and one can settle to read interesting posts once again.

Factions in the Tory group - been there for years. It's the old Willis / Cumpsty faultline. Everyone denies it, but it's there! Some of them won't speak to others at meetings.

Anon 00.24 true. How about the ones in the Labour group? Quite apparent through their blogs and twits. The old guard v the young turks. But of course in that party, any sign of dissidence is punished severely I understand. They call it the "Gulag" treatment.
Any new challenging blood is good for any party. It is what you call Democracy. Going by this new local blog, its author(s) certainly has disclosed much food for thought. Warren Swaine has confirmed some damning facts judging by his comment.Where does this leave RBC? not a pretty spot to be in! Shame on the Officers who allowed this kind of practices to go on!

Was only confirmed what is in the public domain anyway in terms of references, therefore was doing his job as a Councillor. Mind you at this time of year ( elections) they all want to tell us the truth as the public deserves it, right?? Just check the blogs out, people. Which is good so therefore nothing wrong with that. But I have heard a rumour that possibly "someone somewhere" will recourse to the use of the infamous Standard Board to shut this down. Understand used to be part of the "Gulag" treatment, as someone else refers it to on this blog. However, it might just be too uncomfortable to current control as well and to some Officers maybe? So...

Anon 9.34 - the fact that 2 bloggers mutually support a set of very non specific allegations does not make them true. Warren Swine has form in throwing around 'I know' statements, but when you look closer, there is no substance apart from 'senior officer said'. Of course they did.

The fact that his own party has built an exclusion zone around him bigger than that found around a Japanese power plant ought to tell us someting.

Ah. Anon 1701 your style is Howarthian. Is this deliberate?

Of course it's deliberate.....

Crickey. Panic detected.Smoke alarm aka "anon 17:01" working well. Blankets needed to smother this fire. Already in use for another? Damn.

Swine eh? Use of gratuitous bile from an anonymous blogger does suggest the poster is a mushroom level Labour supporter.

Any "exclusion zone" as has been suggested suits me fine.

I am as a consequence not bound by the rules governing agents, candidates and their supporters in relation to activities in support of electing a candidate which is such a pain to have to worry about at this time of the year.
