yes or no

My little poll on the demonstrations in Iran is over. Three votes were against the student demonstrations and ten in favour. It seems to me that the issue is clear cut. Guest post opportunity available to anyone who voted and who wants to expand on their position.

So 13 votes in total and 10 in favour out of the millions who read your blog. You can't get clearer cut than that.

I think you can't. Five of those votes to my knowledge came from my own household. It's always interesting to canvass a level of interest like this. No-one cares about Iran who reads my blog - or almost no-one, and at least one of those who does is inclined to be on the side of the Iranian regime. To my mind the issue is both important and clear cut, but it is a pity that not many others appear to think so. But educational none the less. Thanks boys for the contribution. Reading Labour Party taken a position on Iran has it?

I (and probably many others) did not notice the poll.

Even the BBC has been broadcasting the voices of Iranian refugees who said they were forced by the regime's religious leaders to kill and rape both male and female students on behalf of the regime.

Politicians of all parties (including your Mr White) have been courting the Islamist vote, so they have been silent on the behaviour of all middle eastern countries except one.

We can't be the world's policeman.

And when America tries to be, no voices are more shrill in their condemnation than those on the left...
